The Boundary feature has sections called Direction 1 and Direction 2. In a Loft, Profiles are the primary influence of the shape. (or solid loft cut) I think you have to loft it as a surface, then use INSERT, CUT, WITH SURFACE. then chose the surface loft, and the direction for the cut. I'd like to create a plug for the opening by using the original part prior to creating the opening and using the same loft definition to remove everything outside the loft boundaries.
