Phosphine catalysis
WebOct 10, 2024 · The hallmark of nucleophilic phosphine catalysis is the initial nucleophilic addition of a phosphine to an electrophilic starting material, producing a reactive zwitterionic intermediate, generally under mild conditions. In this Review, we classify nucleophilic phosphine catalysis reactions in terms of their electrophilic components. WebPhosphine ligands are the most significant class of ligands for cross-coupling because of the alterability of their electronic and steric properties. Ligands play a key role in stabilizing and activating the central metal atom and are used in reactions, such as transition metal catalyzed cross-coupling.
