This may help you with axles and max tire size--and 3.21's and 35's will be pretty high geared but if you spend more time on tar then off road it will be a bit doggy but you can get by with it till you can re-gear. The 6 speed may make it more enjoyable then the auto.

Web13 apr 2024 · Any gear ratio recommendations or testimonials without mention of the transmission are useless. The minimum ratio for 35s on the 5 speeds is 4.88. 5.13 should also be considered. As far as lift heights, a 4" spring and a 1.25" body lift is highly encouraged if the goal is to at least maintain the factory suspension travels.

Whether or not a D30 is strong enough for 35" tires depends on a lot of stuff, especially whether or not the front axle has a locker in it.
